transportation.
Environmental preservation: includes providing green spaces and natural areas, preserving
biodiversity, recycling and effective waste management.
Awareness and education: This includes developing awareness programs about sustainability and
environmental preservation, and including the concept of sustainability in educational curricula.
Innovation and Research: Encouraging innovation and research in the field of sustainability and
clean technology development.

Sharjah Sustainable City works to achieve a comprehensive sustainability vision for the future, and
is considered a model for smart and sustainable cities in the region. The city seeks to achieve a
balance between economy, environment and society, and provide a high quality of life for residents
